Series of lecture: Coaching – research and practice
Contrasting traditions in mentoring and coaching research
David Megginson, Visiting Professor, Department of Human Ressource Development, School of Organisation and Management, Sheffield University, England, and co-founder of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC)
David Megginson will examine the strengths and weaknesses of research traditions in coaching and mentoring research.
He will explore with the audience the impact of the contrasts for theory and practice in one-to-one development.
His lecture forms the basis of a chapter in his forthcoming book, to be published in December 2008, - Garvey, Megginson and Stokes, Coaching and mentoring: theory and practice (Sage).

Participation is free of charge but registration is necessary and is done by mail to

Lecture will be held at
H.C. Ørsteds Instituttet, Universitetsparken 5, Auditorium 6.
All lectures are ended with a small networking arrangement at the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences' cantine.
