Consensus conference
Performance in Sports involving intense exercise

30 internationally acknowledged researchers together with representatives from the world of sport will take part in this consensus conference. The conference is not open for the public.
Aims
The aim of the consensus conference is to facilitate the presentation and discussion of the latest knowledge on performance in high intensity elite sports. Specifically, the aim is to produce a series of statements and recommendations that can be used by decision makers in sport as well as in politics and economy. The conference will conclude with a press release presenting the statements and recommendations.
Scientific perspectives
The conference includes two different scientific perspectives: sport psychology human physiology.
Publication and communication
The conference presentations and statements will be published in a special issue of Scandinavian Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports.
During the conference, all presentations will be filmed. Two weeks after the conference the videos of the presentations will be accessible on this page.
