Early versus late specialization as the key to success in Danish elite athletes
Team Danmark will finance a project to find out when successful Danish elite athletes began specialization in their given sport.
In other words: At which point in their career did these athletes specialize in the discipline they later became successful in?
A second question to be answered is if early versus late specialization plays a different role in team versus individual sport.
