530.000 for two Anti-Doping projects

Anne-Marie Elbe and her colleagues from the University of Potsdam, Germany received 530 000 kr. from the German Federal Institute for Sport Science for two sport psychological Anti Doping projects.

The goal of the first project is to find out why athletes have problems urinating during anti doping controls. Is it a clinical disorder or do social factors have an influence? The project is a continuation of the project “The urine-marker method as an intervention tool for psychogenic urination problems during doping controls”.

The aim of the second project is to develop a curriculum for coaches in order to help them teach ethics in sports. This project is connected to Anne-Marie Elbe’s project “Being a fair sportsman: Ethical decision making as a chance for doping prevention?”.
