Motor Control and Biomechanics

Research profileTil toppen

The research group investigates the neural control of movement, biomechanics and exercise physiology in health and disease.

Techniques range from invasive electrophysiological measurement of single cell properties in animal models over non-invasive electrophysiological and biomechanical measurements in humans to functional imaging of the human brain.

Main research interests are plasticity of neural connectivity, motor learning and control as well as musculoskeletal overuse syndroms.
