Regulation of glucose metabolism at rest and during exercise in health and disease
Regulation of glucose metabolism in muscle and adipose tissue during and after exercise in healthy individuals and in patients with insulin resistance e.g. patients with type 2 diabetes.
Focus is on intracellular regulatory mechanisms (intracellular signalling) activated by insulin, exercise and physical training.
