The physiology of the postural muscles
Studies of factors determining the fatigue development of the postural muscles in humans.
Both individual factors (e.g. age, gender, anthropometry, physical training) as well as environmental factors (e.g. ergonomic, manual handling of materials) are taken into consideration.
Special focus is set on the muscle physiology and motor control of the paravertebral muscles.
